The decision to raise our prices for the nail trim and "We Wash" services was difficult and based solely upon the manpower needed to provide these services. We feel this change is also necessary to keep pace with the market. We think you will find our prices are in line with other dog care providers.

The Dog Club of West Linn would like to introduce The Pet Geek, Cynthia Kurtz. Cynthia, a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, states that her skills are the product of over two decades of good teachers, trainers, behaviorists, veterinarians and mentors. Aside from service dog training work and her service to shelters and rescues (both training and medical), Cynthia now trains for a broad spectrum of canine needs.

Cynthia's group training classes WILL SOON BE HELD AT THE DOG CLUB OF WEST LINN! Her classes are based on science, positive reinforcement, and gentle, no-fear methods. Public classes afford many benefits to both pet and owner. Socialization, as well as connecting with your pet, despite distractions, are fundamental.

Cynthia's classes will be posted soon. She will be offering Puppy, Beginning Obedience, and Specialty classes for 'Shy Dog', 'Emergency Recall', "Leash Aggression', and 'Heeling Crash Course'.

Leo the Lion (July 23 - August 22)

Leo dogs can usually be found in positions of authority or celebrity, as they love people and the spotlight. Police dogs, fire station dogs and television or movie star dogs are usually the confident Leo dog. Getting lots of attention is important to this social dog, and they're very protective and faithful to those they love. Leo dogs prefer professional grooming and won't be caught getting dirty and mangy. Scent of the season: Evergreen boughs and cut flowers.
