Eh Gads! It's June 25!!! Where did the time go! We
must be having a blast at The Dog Club because time
is flying by. We have committed a business faux-

Sooooooooooooo, how about a special for Dads and
Grads to let them know that they are very special to
us!
Dads and Grads will get $5.00 off
any self-
service dog wash from June 25th thru July 25th!!
Dads and Grads may also take 10% off regularly

We may be tardy, but we like to give hearty specials!

opening in January of 2004, has Left the Pack

pursue his
dream and study Electrical
Engineering at PSU. Rocky was attending school part
time while working at The Dog Club. He now has the
opportunity to finish his education in a more timely
manner and is excited about going to school full time.
Rocky will take classes this summer and go full

Thank you for a job well done Rocky,
and we wish you much success in your future.

| Welcome Brianne! |

|
The Dog Club of West Linn is pleased to introduce our
new manager, Brianne Camacho.
Raised on a farm in Overland Park, Kansas, Brianne
graduated from the University of Kansas. Brianne has
worked as manager for Ann Taylor and as a Visual
Merchandiser for Gap, Inc. She has
lived in Portland for five months, and when asked why
she moved to the northwest, she replied, "Who
wouldn't want to live in the northwest!" She likes
Portland for it's size and small town feel.
Brianne brings her management and merchandising
expertise to The Dog Club and says, "I'm looking
forward to meeting you,
your family and your fuzzy kids!"

| Summer Safety Tips! |
 |
|
On hot-or even warm-sunny days, the inside of a car
heats up very quickly. On an 85 degree day, even with
the windows slightly open, the temperature inside a
car can reach 102 degrees in 10 minutes to 12
degrees in 30 minutes. On hot and humid days, the
temperature in a car parked in direct sunlight can rise
more than 30 degrees per minute and quickly become
lethal. A dog can withstand a body temperature of 107
degrees for only a short time before suffering
irreparable brain damage--or even death.
If your pet is overcome by heat exhaustion,
immediately immerse or spray with cool running water
and continue until the body temperature lowers,
provide water to drink and consult with a veterinarian
to determine if additional treatment is
needed.

Oregon Humane Society
School's out and summer days are filled with many
fun activities. If you are thinking of taking your pet with
you, be mindful of your dog's activity and where your
dog will be throughout the entire day. If you have a lot
of errands to
run, leave you pet at home or bring them to Doggie
Day Care for air-conditioned fun! Have a fun and
safe summer!
